Hello everyone (:
My name is Mrs. Borchert.
I attended Andrews University in Michigan, and received my bachelors in elementary education and social studies. I love teaching, and spent 2 years in Taipei, Taiwan before joining the teaching team at Northwest Christian. I fell in love with school and education early on, and believe that each child has something amazing to offer the world. As such, I love diversity, inclusion, and try to vary my lessons to ensure that each student gets a well-rounded, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate educational experience. I believe that God has called me to this field, and do my best to share his light with all others, especially as he has blessed me so abundantly.
In my free-time I love to hike, play board games, explore cultures, paint, read, eat food, hang with friends, or spend time traveling. Can’t wait to meet you all, and spend time getting to know you!
